Financial Supporters

Voters approved a new parcel tax along with a surcharge on parking in commercial lots in order to support to Measure Y programs through a 2004 voter initiative.  This local public investment has resulted in further support from other government agencies and private foundations. They include:

• California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Division of Community Partnerships
• California Gang Reduction, Intervention and Prevention (Cal-GRIP) initiative
• Oakland Community Action Partnership
